What is Storyblok?
Storyblok is a headless CMS that combines API-first content delivery with an industry-leading real-time visual editor. Editors see a live preview of every change as they make it, clicking directly on page elements to update them.
It is built on a component-based Bloks architecture: developers define reusable Bloks in code and the CMS, and editors drag and drop them to compose pages without developer involvement.
G2 Reviews
Rated 4.7/5 from 618 verified reviews.
"Storyblok has completely changed how our agency builds sites. The visual editor means our clients can actually manage their own content without asking us for help. The Bloks architecture keeps our components organised and reusable."
Frontend Developer · Agency
"We evaluated Contentful, Sanity, and Storyblok. Storyblok won because non-technical editors could see their changes live before publishing. The learning curve for our content team was minimal compared to other platforms."
Head of Digital · Mid-Market
"Running Storyblok across 12 brand sites in 8 languages. The nested Bloks, release workflows, and locale management have scaled well. Support has been excellent at the Enterprise tier."
Senior Engineer · Enterprise
"The visual editor is genuinely the best thing about Storyblok. It feels like editing a live website, not a form. My only frustration is that some advanced features like approval workflows require an Enterprise plan."
Marketing Manager · Small Business

Strengths

- Strong Next.js and Nuxt integration with official starters
- Free plan generous enough for agencies to prototype client projects

Limitations
